DoJo Rules/Deck Rules

DoJo Rules

HONESTY, COURTESY, RESPECT, DISCIPLINE, LOYALTY and COURAGE are the motivating values of this school and are the expected characteristics of all of our students.

Observe dojo etiquette by bowing upon entering and leaving training areas.

Arrive 10 minutes prior to your class to allow you to check in at the reception desk, get dressed and stretched out.

Do not congregate in the lobby or around the reception desk.

Please help keep the dojo clean: put trash in proper receptacles, store personal equipment neatly and be courteous with restroom usage.

Spectators are requested to maintain silence at the opening and closing of classes.

Deck Rules

The deck area is to be used for training only. It is discourteous to interrupt or interfere with lessons in progress. If you are late, seek permission from the instructor to enter a class that has already started.

While on deck address all instructors and fellow students as Mr., Ms., Sir or Ma'am. Students must be in full uniform while training in the dojo. Approved uniforms are as follows:

Water and sports drinks are to be in spill-proof containers and kept off the deck.
